Achoo!

I think I have a cold. I have been sneezing a lot today.

Luckily I have no job in which I have to call in sick. I can sleep all night and all day and cuddle up with a warm blankie. If I could just get Mama to get one of those Snuggies!

I hope I start feeling better soon. I fear if I don't I am gonna get stuffed into that stupid carrier and taken back to the vet. Yea, no thanks!

The good and the bad and the cute

Mama and Curt stuffed me (well, actually Mama wasn't even home when I got stuffed) into the carrier on Saturday. As soon as I got stuffed Mama pulls up in the car and Curt puts me into the car and buckles me in.

I had to go back to the groomer. Paul, the groomer, missed a mat last Saturday so he shaved off my last mat.

When I got home I was pretty pissy with Mama and Curt. I kinda gave them the cold shoulder.

But once Lexi showed up I was in a much better mood. Lexi gave me love and treats and the brush. And then I eventually forgave Mama.

The visit with Lexi was so great. I love having her around. She pets me, loves me, brushes me, gives me treats, is so nice to me. I love her.

And she even spent the night and was here this morning.

What a great weekend ... even if I did get stuffed in the carrier and have to go back to the vet.

I'm all pretty & fluffy

I had an appointment at the beauty shop today.

I was not excited about it. But it wasn't so bad.

Paul, my groomer, was really nice and I nuzzled up with him while I was being groomed.

I got a bath, a brush and my mats taken care of. I had to have two shaved. The rest Paul brushed out.

When I got home Mama did notice that I still had a wet spot and a mat. Not sure what happened there. I can't remember. So Mama and Curt are working to get that last mat out. If they can't I will have to go back and visit Paul.

It feels good to be all pretty, fluffy and smelling good, too.

I heard a rumor ...

... that I have an appointment at the groomer's soon.
I kinda have this crazy longish hair and it gets matted sometimes. Well, I have more mats than usual and Mama and Curt can't get them out the normal way.
I also get kinda pissy when someone even TOUCHES one of my many mats.
So I guess Mama has resorted to the appointment. I will hate it and complain and whine and cry even though I know it is necessary.

Shoe Time revealed!

Curt and I have this tradition on work mornings. He puts on his shoes and I run over to him to get some petting and loving and rub on his shoes.

Aren't we so cute?

After Shoe Time I run to my cardboard scratching post and do some scratchin'.

I am very smart and know how to get my toys out of my toy basket. Tonight I got my carrot. You can see me here makin' sweet sweet love to my carrot. Ahhh, carrot, I love you!

Comfy time

So Mama and Curt have this coat rack that Mama got for 13 bucks at Big Lots when we still lived in Phoenix.

Since we have lived in the Bay Area Mama and Curt have acquired a lot more coats.

Some time back Mama was hanging some coats and one of the "arms" broke. No biggie. Well, last week another one did.

Mama left her coats lying on the floor for a few days.

And I definitely benefited from that:
