So yesterday Mama and Curt's landlord came over to the house. She had the sprinkler man put in new sprinklers. The timer is in the same closet as my litterbox. (You see where this story is going?)
When they left they completely closed the door to the closet. They locked me out of my own bathroom! And I don't know how to use the human toilet. I held it for as long as I could and then I just had to go ... No. 2. Which is much easier for humans to clean up than cat pee.
I heard Curt telling Mama the story that when he came home he said it smelled like sh.. in the house. He then took the trash bins out front for garbage day. When he came back in it still smelled like sh.. and then he saw the nice pile I left on the carpet near the closed closet.
So Curt cleaned it up and then Mama did a second clean up when she got home. And now all is good.

Teeth cleaning
So today I got my teeth cleaned. I wondered why my food bowl was so empty through the night. I tried telling Mama I wanted it filled up. But she didn't seem to get it.
Everything seemed fine this morning ... well, except for the fact that I didn't have any food in my bowl. And then I started to get suspicious when Mama was just sitting around. What was she waiting for? Ah, Curt. Then I was off. I knew they wanted to stuff me into that little box. I darted to the spareroom/office behind the futon. They got me out of there and I ran to the kitchen under the table. But Mama got me and they stuffed me in the carrier.
Even tho. I hate getting in that carrier the people at the vet's office are really nice to me. I had a nice cage to sleep in. Dr. Wright was super cool and she didn't even have to pull any of my teeth.
By the time Mama picked me up I was myself again and ready to go. She brought me home and gave me some food. I was pretty hungry.

You can see me here munching away. You can also see my bandage. They had to shave a spot on my leg for my IV and it was a little bloody. But I am just about back to my old self now.

Not as bad
So I had to go to the vet again yesterday. I also went last week. And last week the rumor was I was going be put under, get my teeth cleaned and possible extractions. Well, that didn't happen because something was up with my heart.
I went back to the vet yesterday for my ultrasound. I had an ultrasound and another EKG. It seems that I have a mild thickening of the heart. No one seems too concerned. But we are waiting to find out what my cardiologist has to say once they look at my findings. Mama thinks I will have to take medicine. And I hate taking medicine.
I wasn't as mad at her this time as I was last week. I hope she noticed I refused to cuddle with her for days. I mean, she takes my food away, she and Curt stuff me in that horrible little carrier and then I go to the vet and am tortured all day. Yesterday the torture was minimal and I was without food for a much smaller amount of time.
Do you think I will have to go back to the vet soon? I hope not.

Well, today sucked
First of all, some time last night Mama took my food away. Why would she do that? I kept waking her up during the night to let her know my food bowl was nowhere to be found and I wanted to eat.
Then this morning after Curt woke up they put me into my carrier, which I just hate. Then Mama drove me to the vet's office. I think I heard that I was supposed to get my teeth cleaned and apparently I can't eat after 9 p.m. before that happens. I mean, who in the heck came up with that rule? What a jerk!
So my doctor hooked me up to some machines. After that they had to call Mama about some stuff. Apparently, it appears that I have an abnormality on my heart. My blood pressure was good, so it may be nothing. But my doc wants to make sure I am OK before they put me under. My cardiologist will perform the ultrasound next week.
I did get my nails trimmed and a mat brushed out of my tummy--one that Mama and Curt just couldn't get to.
I was also starving, so they finally fed me!
Mama came to pick me up and apologized for my crappy day. She said she would give me a beer if I liked it. But I don't. I got lots of treats and have been promised I will get a lot of brushing.
Meow!

I am an A+ kinda kitty
Ruff Ruff sent my mama my report card. I got an A+ and yes, I am bragging. I love when Bettina and Joey (ha! we share a first name) come to take care of me. (I also loved when Grandpa and Hilda took care of me. Hilda brushed me every day. I love her!)
Anyway, check out my awesome report card:

Shhhh
Grandpa and Hilda are sleeping right now. So I thought I would sneak into the office and blog for a bit.
So I miss Mama and Curt. But Ruff Ruff took great care of me the first few days. And now Grandpa and Hilda are here. I have been following Hilda around a lot. I investigated her suitcase and her toiletries. I really like her.OK, back to bed. Hope you are having a great time Mama and Curt. And even tho. I don't like beer, have one for me.
